For the flail mowers of the MU-H Vario and MU-L Vario series, as well as for the MU-W and MU-O Vario flail mowers used for wine growing and special crops, Müthing offers an adaptable, hydraulically driven cutting disc for professional use in various fields of application
Based on specific requirements from use in the field, the cutting disc was designed to regulate organic growth in a targeted manner. The design enables versatile use in, for example:
- Row crops and special crops (e.g. wine and fruit growing),
- Agricultural (“agri-photovoltaic”) systems and conventional photovoltaic systems,
- Verges, boundary and guide posts
- as well as (pasture) fencing systems and many other areas of application
Thanks to its robust, yet very flat design and precise cutting guidance with stable, pendulum-mounted cutting blades, the cutting disc is ideal for combined use in varying site conditions. It ensures efficient vegetation control with a high surface output thanks to its combination with a flail mower. The cutting disc can also be flexibly integrated into existing system solutions and impresses even under demanding field conditions and in thick organic growth.
The cutting disc is available in two versions and is hydraulically driven.
- Hydraulic cutting disc with effective diameter ⌀ 600 mm incl. hydraulic button control (oil requirement approx. 35 l/min, 140 kg machine weight)
- Hydraulic cutting disc with effective diameter ⌀ 600 mm incl. mechanical spring tensioner (oil requirement approx. 30 l/min, 125 kg machine weight)
A transport position including a mechanical transport locking device, a chain guard at the housing outlet and a protective cover for the disc body to protect the crop are included as standard. A single-acting control unit and a pressureless return line on the tractor are required to initially put the cutting disc into operation. The hydraulic motor is equipped with an integrated replenishing valve. The cutting disc works with a spring-loaded parallelogram to ensure ideal ground adaptation and thus a homogenous cutting pattern. Depending on the application area, the sensitivity of the spring tilt function/button control can be individually adjusted by the user.
The cutting disc is now available for adaptation to the flail mowers of the MU-H Vario, MU-L Vario, MU-W and MU-O Vario series in rear attachment, located on the right in the direction of travel. The overall height of the machine is 330 mm with a disc height of 155 mm.
